The challenge this week was to answer the million dollar question: "Can you photograph a subject truly objectively?" As simple as this sounds this was one of the more difficult assignments I've had in my short career here at the Academy. In three images we were tasked to go from a flat almost scientific approach, to a more obvious narrative and emotion invoking composition. The subject I chose to photograph was a pair of plaster modeling hands. I was really drawn to the posture and gestures the hands themselves had and thought it would be an interesting challenge for me. From really even lighting in the first image to the narrative of the third, I really enjoyed this assignment.
